First-aid treatment is offered to pupils who might fall sick during the course of the day’s activities or whose health demands monitoring.
Parents are expected to provide the school with relevant and correct information in respect of their child’s health history.
Any pupil suffering from contagious or infectious illnesses must be kept at home until they are certified fit by a medical doctor. Such a certificate of clearance must be presented to the school before the child is allowed to resume classes.

MUSIC
The school has a comprehensive range of musical instruments which are upgraded periodically. These include the keyboard, drum set, clarinet, violin, saxophone and recorders, among others.
Great emphasis is placed on voice training and the ability to read music.
Recorder lessons are free and compulsory for all pupils from Primary 3 - 6. Our pupils sometimes take part in external musical concerts are featured at the schools’ annual social activities.
.
COMPUTER EDUCATION
Childville pupils are provided with intensive and effective computer training in appreciation of the increasing need for computer skills in the country. Computer classes are handled by experienced teachers, with an emphasis on practicals.
The school is forward thinking and places great emphasis on the benefit of information communication technology (ICT) as a means of enabling access to the curriculum and as a management tool.
SCIENCE LABORATORY
In this age of scientific and technological advancement, the progress of a country depends on how well it applies available scientific knowledge for practical use.
It is desirable that all children be given at least a basic training in Science to enable them to develop a positive and dynamic attitude to the subject.
The science laboratory is fully equipped, and upgraded from time to time to meet the needs of all our pupils..
ART
Art is the ability to observe and imagine things around us in terms of line, colour, texture and form. Through the study of art our children are encouraged to express themselves irrespective of language or nationality. In the various classes, the children are taught different forms of Art, including Drawing, Painting, Weaving and Tie-dye among others. Their artistic skills and creativity adorn our walls and are visible all round our school premises.
THE LIBRARY
The school has a well stocked library to which the pupils have regular access. The library teacher is always on hand to assist the pupils on how best to put the facilities to use. Available materials help to promote the development of reading skills and encourage long term learning habits. Library periods are allocated to different classes in rotation, thereby ensuring that no pupil in the school is denied the opportunity of using the library as a valuable academic resource centre.
HOME ECONOMICS
The Home Economics class is designed to expose our pupils to real domestic tasks. All necessary equipment is provided. Excellent results over the years have proved that children learn fast this way and acquire knowledge which is not only sufficient for all academic and examination purposes, but make them enthusiastic participants in all related domestic activities.
SPORTS
Educating the whole child is our priority; therefore, our children are exposed to regular Physical Education and are encouraged to participate actively in sports.
Top class facilities are available for outdoor sports. The school children also take part in sports competitions with schools of similar standards whenever invited, and we hold an annual inter-house sports.
