News from an Ex Pupil

One of our ex pupils, Jessica Ehondor, has excelled after completing her Primary 6 year at Corona in Lekki. Jessica was with us at The Childville right throughout her Primary School career but after her family had to relocate to Lekki, she moved to a school closer to home.

Recently her parents sent us a letter of appreciation to thank us for the wonderful foundation laid for Jessica at our school which they believe is the secret to her success. Jessica has won First Prize in the All Corona Schools Quiz Competition, First Prize in The Nigerian Turkish International Mathematics Competition for her zone and Lagos State. She then took second prize in the nationwide contest.

She was the best overall pupil in The Atlantic Hall and Corona Secondary School entrance examinations and was awarded full scholarships to both schools. She passed the Loyola Jesuit entrance examination and has earned herself a place at the school for the 2010/2011 session.

We would like to congratulate Jessica and her parents on their success and wish her well for her future at Secondary School.

Visit to The Motherless Babies Homes

Selected pupils went along with Mrs Evbota, Ms Egbums, Mrs Olutimehin and Ms Apassa to the Motherless Babies Homes on the 5th of July 2010. This forms part of our annual community service where the school collects various items for these homes and the pupils then pay a visit to them to hand the items over.
The staff of the homes were most grateful for the donations, which will be put to good use for those less fortunate than ourselves.
